REVIEW: The Red Light Rumors – All Rumors are True

The Red Light Rumors – All Rumors are True

MCD 2012 Fuck No! Records

The Red Light Rumors – Rumors are Wild

LP 2012 Labl Records

One of Belgium most promising underground rock’n’roll bands are back with a new album: ‘All Rumors are True’. The album is also available on vinyl (= ‘Rumors are Wild’). The vinyl combines both their records ‘Tonight I’m going Wild’ and ‘All Rumors are True’.

On ‘All Rumors are True’ ‘The Red Light Rumors’ do what they do best: Rock! Again this CD contains six dirty and sleazy raging rock’n’roll tracks. It offers a collection of songs that still are a good combination of garage rock, punk and a dash of countryrock’n’roll but on the new songs they sound greasier, dirtier and wilder than before. There are no weaknesses here, or maybe just one … the MCD is damn to short.

This is just pure rock’n’roll madness for the wild ones. 8,5/10
