REVIEW: Crossfire – Men Without Faces

Crossfire – Men Without Faces

7” 2012 Steeltown Records

The Austrian streetcore band Crossfire is around since 2001 and already released 2 MCD, a full length and several compilation contributions. Earlier this year, in July, they released the EP ‘Men Without Faces’ on Steeltown Records.

Crossfire’s plays raw but melodic American streetpunk with a nice Motörhead vibe and with an up and mid tempo rock’n’roll beat.

The EP comes with some awesome looking but dark and pessimistic artwork that visualizes the statement of the song ‘Men Without Faces’: the world is suffering from greedy man who only live for profit and power.

Personal highlights are the great looking artwork and the opener ‘Hard Times’. 8/10

Track List:

  1. Hard Times
  2. Your Shine don’t Light
  3. Trapped
  4. Men Without faces
