NEWS: Groezrock announces new names

btBILLY TALENT will be returning to Groezrock this year. For those who don’t know: Billy Talent is a Canadian melodic punk rock band from Mississauga, Ontario. They formed in 1993. Billy Talent has made two multi-platinum records in Canada, and continues to expand their success overseas. They released their fifth album, entitled Dead Silence, on September 4, 2012. Equipped with countless awards (such as multiple MuchMusic Awards, Juno Awards, MTV Awards and even two of those rare German Echo Awards) and having played the biggest festival stages worldwide, Billy Talent are ready to take on their next mission: to complete their world domination. PULLEY is a Californian punk rock band formed in 1994. The band is known for straightforward, hard-edged melodic punk rock. The band was formed upon vocalist Scott Radinsky’s departure from Ten Foot Pole, brought about by that band’s desire for a singer with a full-time focus on music (Radinsky was also a major-league relief pitcher and has played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, among others). Statement from the band “SEE YOU AT GROEZROCK IN BELGIUM IN APRIL!!!!!! This will be our ONLY show in Europe. You know we hardly leave California, and haven’t been to Europe since 2004, so we really hope to see you there!!!!!”

TRASH TALK is an American hardcore punk band from Sacramento, California, formed in 2005. They have toured all around the world including Japan, Australia, Europe, as well as performed in many festivals in support of their releases.

NARROWS is an American mathcore band based in Seattle but with members “spread out across both the United States and two continents.” The band has been described as a supergroup, as its lineup includes Dave Verellen of Botch and members of bands including Unbroken, These Arms Are Snakes and Bullet Union.
