Homer (and friends) – HOMER 15 years of hittin’ the road, trashing stages and making friends
LP 2013 Funtime Records

Funtime Records and Homer are about to release ‘eh boemmeke’. The Belgian band ‘Homer’ is celebrating their 15 years of existence of spreading their “Hardcore injected melodic punkrock with heavy breaks, epic choruses and lyrics that deal with both personal and socio-critical lyrics.” Is their a better way then doing it with a new release, I don’t think so.

So to celebrate their 15th anniversary as a band, Funtime Records is releasing a limited 10” (300 copies only, coloured vinyl). Besides a brand new Homer song ‘This Machine Kills’, 5 bands recorded their version of a Homer classic. You get contributions by Arizona, Musth, Face the Fax, The Rocket and Steve Rawles from Belvedere/This is a standoff. This 10” is a real must have for all Homer fans but also for the fans of the bands mentioned above because each one of them made a Homer song into something of their own.

This special record and ‘Homer’ just earn a well deserved 10/10 for their 15th anniversary.

Track List:

1. Homer: This machine kills
2. Arizona: Conquer the world
3. Musth: Rights and Wrongs
4. The Rocket: This scene is sacrificed
5. Face the Fax: The punkrock verses
6. Steve Rawles: Escaping the circle
