CD 2013 AF Records

World Scariest Police Chases is a Pittsburgh based punk rock band that probably released one of the most controversy punk rock albums of the year.

The album title and the artwork refers to Rancid, NOFX and Green Day’s Dookie but musically it refers more to the posi-hardcore and youth crew from bands as Good Clean Fun (check ‘You’re Only Punk Once’) and Gorilla Biscuits (check ‘Start (Fucking Yourself) Today’).

Punk, Pittsburgh and AF Records is a combination that almost always works for me, certainly when its combined with humour, tongue-in-cheek, politically incorrect and sarcastic songs (it doesn’t always has to be too serious).

‘NOFX and Out Come The Wolves Dookie’ is an album you will love or hate. It might be over-the-top but they certainly put the PUNK back into punk rock and the HA into hardcore.
