7” 2014 Aggro Beat / Poink Records

The Malang Skinghead EP, named after the Indonesian city Malang (East-Java) is a split EP with two bands coming out of this city: Skinhead pioneers ‘No Man’s Land’ and their younger partners in crime ‘The Young’s Boot’ who were founded in 2009. The release of this EP coincides with the 100th birthday of the city of Malang as an independent city and the 20th birthday of No Man’s Land.

For both bands this is their first release on vinyl. They both contribute two new songs of straightforward, tight and catchy sing along Oi! Nothing extraordinary, but good Asian Oi! The bands are well matched and No Man’s Land can sleep on both ears, their heritage is assured by The Young’s Boot. 8/10
