REVIEW: The Siknotes – Cruisin’ For A boozin’

Cruisin' For A Bruisin' FrontThe Siknotes – Cruisin’ For A boozin’
EP 2015 Morning Wood Records

Cruisin’ For A Boozin’ is the latest EP by UK punk rock act The Siknotes. The band started in 2000 but disbanded four years later. Earlier this year they decided to give it another try and came back together. First result is this EP but they are already working on new material for a full-length album, planned to be recorded later this year.

If you are hungry for some up-tempo punk rock with a 90’s punk rock foundation than this EP will partly satisfy your hunger, you will be fully satisfied if you don’t mind it to be a bit rough edged and with a dash of Rancid (minus the ska). It certainly has a taste for more. 8/10

Track list:
1. Broken
2. Dave The Fan
3. The end
4. GY Till I Die
