‘Twitching Tongues is a metal and rock infused hardcore band formed late 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The band already released a demo and a 7″ single. ‘Sleep Therapy’ is their debut album.

The reference to metal and hardcore doesn’t mean that Twitching Tongues is one of those millions (crappy) metalcore bands around. On the contrary ‘Twitching Tongues bring a quite unique blend of doomy Type O Negative and Black Sabbath influenced metal and hardcore. Not a lot of bands play this kind of music nowadays which makes ‘Sleep Therapy’ is a refreshing album.

Before you really get into their vibe you need to give this catchy album a few spins, but once you are in there you are hooked. 8.5/10
