REVIEW: Freedumb – Feeding The Tapeworm

Freedumb – Feeding The Tapeworm
Tape 2016 Tonehjulet Kräftpest

Freedumb from Norway is a hardcore punk band but listening to ‘Feeding The tapeworm’ it could easily place the band during the 80s in Venice California USA (neglecting the few songs in Norwegian of course) during the High days of the crossover hardcore punk trash with bands as suicidal tendencies and so one.

Combine this with some Black Flag, a modern touch of Iron Reagan and some good melodic and catchy 90s punk rock than you have a pretty good idea what to expect. With some songs tending more to hardcore, others to melodic punk rock and others to more trash and with a touch of mainstream rock ‘Feeding The Tapeworm’ is a divers and enjoyable album … a very enjoyable album. 8,5/10
